How can design and architecture transform cities into more friendly and attractive places? We will explore these possibilities through the RDW & The City program, a new format of the festival dedicated to reconnecting residents with the city.
RDW & The City will present a series of temporary urban interventions, which will be placed in public spaces and will be open to everyone. The proposed installations invite people to discover new spaces for relaxation, meeting, and dialogue, offering a fresh perspective on how we interact with the urban environment.

As part of Design is our shared language — a collaborative project between Romanian Design Week and Łódź Design Festival, and an initiative within the Poland- Romania Cultural Season 2024–2025. The POLAND-ROMANIA Cultural Season 2024-2025 is organised by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, with the support of the Polish Institute in Bucharest, the Romanian Ministry of Culture and the Romanian Cultural Institute.
